This website is hosted by the following provider:

Based on our current hosting setup, content is served via servers located in Germany. For the provision and security of the website, technically required data is processed, in particular IP address, date and time of access, and the requested resource.
The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure, stable and functional provision of this website.
The nature and scope of any server log files are otherwise determined by the specific hosting setup and the technical specifications of the provider.
3. Cookies & Tracking
This website does not use any cookies, tracking services, analytics tools, or advertising networks. No user tracking takes place.
4. SSL/TLS Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser address bar begins with 'https://'.
5. Map Display via OpenFreeMap
For the interactive map view, MapLibre GL JS is executed in the browser. Map style and map data are provided by OpenFreeMap. Once the map view loads, your browser establishes a connection to OpenFreeMap servers. Technically required data may be transmitted to OpenFreeMap, in particular your IP address, date and time of retrieval, browser and device information, referrer information, and the requested map resources.
The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing a user-friendly, high-performance map function.
The provider of the map content is OpenFreeMap / Hyperknot Software Kft., Petofi Sandor utca 48., Ujlengyel, 2724, Hungary. Further information can be found at openfreemap.org/privacy and at openfreemap.org/tos.
According to the information published by OpenFreeMap at the time of creating this privacy policy, no cookies or tracking technologies are used. However, OpenFreeMap notes that IP logging may be temporarily activated in the event of security incidents and that technical service providers such as Cloudflare may be used. The current privacy information of OpenFreeMap shall apply in this respect.
6. Location Resolution via Photon (Komoot)
The 'Where' search function uses the Photon service (operated by komoot GmbH, Saarbrücker Str. 38, 10405 Berlin, Germany) to determine geographic coordinates from a text input (place name). As soon as you enter a place in the 'Where' search field, your entered text string (search query) is transmitted to the Photon server. Your IP address is also transmitted to Photon, as this is technically necessary for communication between your browser and the service.
Photon uses OpenStreetMap data. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in providing a user-friendly location and radius search, without which the core search function of the website cannot be used as intended.
Further information on data protection at Photon/Komoot can be found at komoot.de/datenschutz.
7. Contact
If you contact us by email or telephone, your details will be used exclusively for processing your enquiry and will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.
